We are delighted to present Los Vascos, a coffee crafted with care by the producers of Bilbao, a small town in the lush mountains of Planadas, Tolima. Each family-run farm, spanning 4 to 5 hectares at 1,500–1,850 MASL, reflects a deep commitment to quality and sustainability. These farmers embrace environmentally friendly practices, from optimising cherry picking to refining fermentation methods, ensuring their coffee captures the region’s rich biodiversity and vibrant spirit.
Inspired by the resilience of the Basque people, these farmers innovate while preserving their traditions. Cultivated with varieties like Castillo, Tabi, and Pink Bourbon, the coffee undergoes meticulous processing and sun drying to achieve exceptional quality. Los Vascos reflects the harmony of nature, community, and craftsmanship, delivering a taste of Tolima’s heritage and the farmers’ enduring passion for excellence.
