Introducing

Kianjuki

The Kianjuki Factory in Embu, Kenya, is part of the Kirurumwe Farmers’ Cooperative Society, supporting 800 smallholder farmers since 1963. Located at 1,500 metres above sea level, it processes SL28, Ruiru 11, and Batian varietals, known for their resilience and vibrant flavours.

After selective handpicking, ripe cherries are pulped, fermented, and dried on raised beds for up to 14 days. This process enhances the coffee’s bright acidity and fruity complexity. The cup is a harmonious balance of citrus, berry, and tropical fruit, showcasing the dedication of Embu’s farmers and their commitment to excellence.
