Kamvara Estate, located in Embu, Kenya, thrives at 1,650 to 1,750 metres above sea level. Since 2009, Grace Njoki Njage has led the estate with precision and care, growing SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11 varietals, cherished for their adaptability and flavour. Each cherry is handpicked at peak ripeness, reflecting Kenya’s legacy of exceptional coffee.
Processing at Kamvara is meticulous: cherries are pulped, fermented, and soaked in clean water to enhance their density and flavour. They are then dried on raised beds for two to three weeks. The resulting coffee is bright and complex, with notes of citrus, berry, and floral sweetness, a testament to Grace’s commitment to quality.
