Diofanor Ruiz was born into a traditional coffee-farming family and has dedicated his life to producing exceptional coffee. In 2005, he purchased La Divisa, a 14-hectare farm in Buenavista, Quindío, situated at 1,950 MASL. With a deep respect for the land, he cultivates coffee alongside fruit-bearing and native trees to enrich the soil, promote biodiversity, and enhance the quality of his harvests.
Tasting his own coffee for the first time in 2005 transformed his approach, shifting his focus to quality-driven practices. Since 2017, he has worked with Cofinet, refining his processing techniques to achieve remarkable results. This washed Tabi lot reflects his dedication, with vibrant notes of mandarin, lime zest, and orange blossom, offering a bright and complex expression of La Divisa’s terroir.
